DeBoerFund Investment Strategy
DeBoerFund employs a strategic approach aimed at outperforming the market, which we define as the All-World Index (iShares Core MSCI World UCITS ETF USD (Acc)). Since 1979, this index has delivered an average annual return of 10.35%. Our strategy to surpass this benchmark combines long-term investments in high-quality companies with short-term trading opportunities.
Long-Term Investments in High-Quality Companies
We define high-quality companies as those possessing a sustainable competitive advantage, which may include:
- Strong network effects
- Economies of scale
- High switching costs
- Valuable intangible assets
Our goal is to identify companies that exhibit one or more of these advantages and acquire them at a fair valuation.
Short-Term Trading
In addition to long-term investments, active trading in equities and other assets will be incorporated to generate additional returns. This strategy will be applied to a smaller portion of the total portfolio and will be driven by a combination of technical analysis and fundamental insights.
By balancing these two approaches, DeBoerFund aims to achieve superior risk-adjusted returns while capitalizing on both long-term value creation and short-term market opportunities.
